Haystack Bench

This 2-person outdoor bench was designed and constructed during my technical assistantship at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts. The design directly responds to the visual language used in the school's unique architecture. The stones in the middle of the bench act as a meditative point of connection between the two seated people. The pictured bench was donated to the school's scholarship auction and was sold to support their scholarship program.
