100 Guns
mixed media, performance
An installation of 100 homemade toy guns.
Each gun is poised to fire a tiny army man at the viewer.
A video recording shows the process of making each gun in the same way I made them as a child: found wood, nails, rubber bands, pilfered clothespins and a borrowed hammer. Wartime weapons production for young urban kids high in ingenuity and low on resources.
